Have you noticed all the online fundraising appeals this year sound a lot like the old-school political fundraising pitches from the 80’s and 90’s? 🤔

They might look different 🤷 but the message is still the same.

There’s a few good reasons for that. Probably the best explanation is that they worked back then, and they’re working even better now in the high-tech era. 💻 📱

One technique that’s back this year is the PAC drive. Admittedly before my time there were teams of “PAC RATS” (not sure the nickname still flies) that organized monthly donations for political parties. PACs have made a huge comeback with charities and NGOs like us because they help with budgeting. So we’ve started a Game Changers PAC drive to get 100 new PACs by year-end.

The good news is that the United Steelworkers union 💪 will match all 🎁 for our Change the Game campaign including all the PAC donations we get in December. You can click here to join our PAC Drive.

So effectively, thanks to the USW your new PAC would be doubled for the first month. Can you help us to maximize their generosity? Join the new PAC drive. Click here to join.

Your new PAC of $5 would be worth $10, or $20 would become $40 this month. Thanks to the USW your new PAC gets doubled no matter what!  🎁 = 🎁🎁

As a millennial I could insert some more emoji’s here: 💎 💰 ⏳ 🌡️ but I don't think those things really matter. What matters is action and results, and that's what the Broadbent Institute is all about!

Michael I hope you join our old school Game Changers PAC drive today, because together we will change the game for good! 🏆

Best,

Devon
